Grilled salmon is a staple dinner in our house - making our menu at least once a week. It's quick and easy - perfect for our busy weeknight schedule and the entire family likes it which doesn't happen often with two picky kids. And as a health coach, I love this healthy dinner recipe because it provides our family with a balanced meal of protein and healthy fats - and paired with a veggie packed side - the fiber that our bodies need.
And nothing beats grilling - saving time with not having to clean up the kitchen.
I hope you enjoy this as much as my family does!
Ingredients
1 - 2 lbs fresh salmon filets (we love the Norwegian Atlantic salmon filets from Trader Joes)
2 - 4 T. soyaki
Instructions
Marinate salmon in soyaki (I prefer to marinate for at least an hour but some nights - just a few minutes have to do).
Pre-heat grill to medium/high heat.
Once grill is 400-500 degrees, place salmon on grill, skin side down.
Grill salmon, skin side down for 8 minutes; remove from grill and let cool for 1-2 minutes.
