Shrimp is such an easy protein option - but I've haven't found a recipe that I've loved, until this one!
And talk about easy.... just a handful of ingredients and 8 minutes is all you need for these delicious shrimps to be ready to enjoy on my Arugula & Farro salad or with your other favorite dish.
Air Fried Blacken Shrimp
Ingredients
1lb shrimp (I used pre-cooked, jumbo shrimp)
2 T. olive oil
1 t. garlic powder
1 t. onion powder
1 t. smoked paprika
1/4 t. cayenne
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
1/2 t. oregano
1/2 t. basil
Instructions
Defrost shrimp in a bowl of cold water (if using fresh shrimp, de-vein and prep).
Drain water and pat dry shrimp with a paper towel.
Season shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne, salt, pepper, oregano and basil. Mix well.
Pre-heat air fryer to 400 F.
Add shrimp to air fryer and cook for 8 minutes; let cool and serve with your favorite dish!
