It's Fall y'all!
The Apple are a picking and Pumpkin Spice is in full force every where you look.
Whether you are Team Apple or Team Pumpkin Spice there is no shortage of great recipes to enjoy all the flavors of the season and from a health perspective, you really cannot go wrong. Both are full of nutritional benefits to fuel your body, boost your energy and stabilize your hunger levels. High in fiber, vitamins C, A, B, potassium, antioxidants and anti-inflammatory elements to support digestion and a healthy gut - among the many benefits these wonderful plants have to offer.
No matter which team you are on - I've got you covered with these two delicious taste of Fall recipes. The perfect start to those chilly Autumn mornings and a delicious snack that will not only leave you satisfied but will make your house smell so good! These are a must try!

Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal (serves 1)
Ingredients:
1 c. unsweetened almond milk
1/2 c. rolled oats
2 T. pumpkin puree
1 T. chia seeds
1 T. hemp seeds
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. pumpkin pie spice
Instructions
In a small saucepan, bring almond milk to a boil.
Slowly stir in rolled oats, chia seeds, hemp seeds and protein powder.
Cook down until liquid is absorbed; add in pumpkin puree and spices. Stir until mixed well.
Remove from heat, spoon into a bowl an top with your favorite toppings - nut butters, fruit, nuts, seeds, etc. Enjoy!
Baked Apples
Ingredients
3-6 apples (or as many as you'd like!)
1/2 - 1 t. cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
Instructions
Pre-heat over to 375 F
Core and dice apples into 1-inch cubes
Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until tender; remove from oven, let cool and enjoy as is or use them to top oatmeal, yogurt or salads.
