Negative self-talk is a choice

One of the healthiest realizations I have made is that I am the one who gets to decide what I think.

I can allow all thoughts into my party - and I get to choose which ones I hang out with.

I get to decide.

And I've decided to spend time with the ones that support me. The ones that lift me up.

I decided I no longer want to hang out with the thoughts:

"there is never enough time"

"it's not working"

"it's so hard"

"I don't know what to do"

Instead, I've made friends with:

"things are worth my time"

"every step is a step closer"

"it's possible"

and

"I'm figuring it out"

And they are so much more supportive. They remind me that I'm in control.

They inspire me - and they make me feel good.

The others never leave the party but when they get to close, I gently remind myself that they can party alone.

I'm better off without them.

And so are you.

You are full of magical hype girl thoughts - choose to hang out with the kind ones.
