Movement is medicine.

It changes our body, our minds and our moods.

It changes our health.

It gives us more life in our years and years in our life.

It's energy boosting and stress relieving - and so much more.

I love to move my body. I love starting my day with movement. I love the foundation it provides, the energy it gives me and the calm it evokes for me to take on the busy of my life. I love to push myself hard and lift heavy weights, but I also love to pull back and go for a walk or stretch it out. When it comes to movement, there is no one size fits all. And that's the beauty of it.

There is something for everyone - any day of the week, any place, in any amount of time. It's about finding what works for you and moving your body in a way you enjoy - in a way that keeps you coming back for more. This is what drives consistency - and consistency drives change.   • Go for a walk

  • Dance around your house

  • Go for a swim

  • Take a yoga class (virtual or in person!)

  • Go for a run

  • Go out for a hike

  • Run around the playground with your kids

  • Do some jumping jacks

  • Get down and do some sit-ups

  • Do 5 squats after every time you use the bathroom

  • Go for a bike ride

  • Go ice skating

  • Stretch while you watch TV

  • Go for a swim

  • Lift some weights
